Wizard (Atari 2600)Wizard was developed for the Atari 2600 in 1980. It was released in 2005. That’s a long time, but it’s nice that there are still games coming out for the 2600, especially for people who never upgraded. It’s a lifetime of entertainment!

Actually, Wizard was released on the Atari Flashback 2, so you can’t just buy a cartridge and cram it into your old system. Oh well.

The game itself is pretty neat. You’re a little guy (presumably a wizard?) in a big maze. There are enemies, but if they’re behind walls, you can’t see them. It’s tense!

I could only find one video of the game online, and it’s annoying, but if you want to see the game in action, but you don’t want to control it, I guess this is your only option:
