My loud gloom-rock band, Hex Map, is playing a show tonight in Allston. It’s special because it’s most likely our last show with Ernie Kim on drums. Ernie’s been a bud for a long time, and he’s the person I’ve played the second most music with, after Mike Gintz. Ernie played drums for me while I was figuring out how to do the drums for Wizard Planet, and he played the second guitar solo on my song “Oh Oh Oh Girl Oh.” He’s been playing with Hex Map for two years now (crazy!), and he played in one of the live incarnations of Clawjob too. Aaaaand one of his other bands, Malibu Gaze, just put out an EP called Borf Control.
The show is tonight at Great Scott, and we’ll be going on at around 9pm. Bring all of your friends!
